Is there a national law regarding how much attorneys can receive on their cases?

Just wanted to know.Is there a national law regarding how much attorneys can receive on their cases?
I'm not sure, but usually it's 1/3 of the judgment plus expenses. It's those ';plus expenses'; that tend to eat up the rest of your judgment and gives the lion's share to the attorney.
